As Room Mother for Arwen's preschool class, I put together a scrapbook for her teacher as part of her end of school year gift. Each parent was asked to provide a picture of their child, a sample of the child's artwork, and a quote as to what the child liked most about Miss Minnie or school.
With almost 100% participation from the parents and embellishments to cover the pages that did not have all three components, I think the project was a success. The album came out really cute and was ready to be presented to Miss Minnie at the All School End of Year Potluck.
My original plan was to put together one of those photo books online, but I didn't allow myself enough time to collect all the items and still have it shipped here in time. Guess my poor planning worked out in my favor because I had much more fun putting my scrapbook supplies to use.
I didn't take a picture of the album cover which was just a pretty Island Blossom print in greens and browns - something I picked up while on the mainland at JoAnn Fabric & Craft Stores. All of the cardstock, designer papers, rubber stamps, ink, and embellishments for the pages were from Stampin' Up!
